The winner of season four of Alone Australia has shared how a change in perspective helped them get through weeks in the Finnish wilderness.
Trent Fenton outlasted nine other contestants in the Arctic Circle to take home the title.
Fenton said seeing news reports about what was occurring in Gaza in the days leading up to his departure for the program helped put what he was experiencing into perspective.
“Think about the people like that in the real world that are doing it tough and aren’t living out the adventure of a lifetime,” Fenton said.
